I have a WD-PR4100 NAS that I found turned off the other day. It does not turn on, it does not make noise, it does not start anything, only when I connect the power to it the 4 front lights turn on and flash red. But it does not start anything, nor does it turn on the hard drives or the fan, it is like dead. It does not start by connecting the power to any of the 2 available inputs. Any ideas? Can it be the power supply? Can it be repaired or replaced? In order to recover the information of the 4 disks in RAID 5, buying another unit and inserting the 4 disks would be enough? Yes, in my case I simply changed the AC adapter and now works without problem.
