WD portable Hard drive saying "unsupported USB" on my TV

Hey all

I’ve recently bought a WD portable Hard drive. I have a usb port in my TV and want to play the movies I have on my hard drive on the TV. When I try to use it the TV says “Unsupported USB”… Can anyone help me? I had the same problem with one of my USB’s. I had used the usb previously with no problems, and then it stopped working. My housemate is able to use hers fine. I have a MAC, does this mean anything???

check the manual for the TV to verify if required to have an specific file system and format the drive
