Hi. I’ve just downloaded the app. In the description it says that I should be able to upload photos and videos from my phone to MyBookLive. But I cannot see how to do it!! Could anybody explain where I and how I do it?

I think the upload function is only with the WDTV Live Hub, I’ve been using WD Photos from an X10 Mini Pro linked to a MyBook Live for a while now and I can’t upload either. I just noted that the WD Photos section from the Hub is very different on the features than the one displayed on the MBW, MBL and Sharespace on WD’s website…
Upload feature is currently available for WD TV Live Hub only. We hear your valuble feedback, WD mobile team is working hard constantly to meet the customer expectations in next upcoming releases
Your post sounds more like an Idea or a Feature Request. The best place for this is in Idea Exchange located in the same category as your product. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it. However, I would search first and make sure that there isn’t another idea similar to yours that you could add your post to and vote on.

Trying to find the WD Photos app for Android - have an Acer Tablet and it is not showing in the apps store. I use the app on the iPhone and other than the fact that I would like full mionet access find it highly useful. Please let me know where to get the app. Thanks
If you are unable to find the WD Photos app in the Android Market, and you are in the US, you can download the app from the Amazon App Market:
Thanks - works well and there are several other apps on Amazon that I couldn’t find in my native app store. Only other place I found WD Photos said it was incompatible with my device and wouldn’t let me download. John McHugh

I’ve been searching hi and lo for this apps but would not find it. Manage to find from a few website but when I scan the 2d barcode, it gave me an error.
Can anyone help direct me to some url to download it. BTW I’m from Malaysia

The Android Marketplace is maintained by Google. If you are unable to download the WD Photos app through the Android Marketplace, you will need to contact Google directly. In many cases if the app is not available for you, it is either due to device incompatibility or a regional block put in by Google. Our only compatibility requirements for the WD Photos app is Android 2.1+.
The Amazon.com Android Market also contains our WD Photos app, however they are currently only available for users in the United States.
I live in Brazil. How do I get the WD Photos for my Xoom tablet? The android market does not show it.

No response to the previous post! Any way, I found a link to download but it states that is not compatible with my XOOM… What should I do?
RickiLivi, where are you attempting to acquire the WD Photos app? The only two places we have provided the download are on the Android Market maintained by Google, and the Amazon App Store. Any other source is not something we can support.
If I go to Market app the search return no results for the WD Photos. If I go via web ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.wdphotos) I got this message: This app is not compatible with your XOOM. If I go to Amazon appstore I can find the app but I recieve the message: The Amazon Appstore for Android is not yet available in your region. Before buying the XOOM I had an iPad where I installed the app and worked fine. What shoud I do to get the app for my XOOM?
Our upcoming version of WD Photos, 1.3, should be compatible with most tablet devices, including the Xoom.

So how do we go about getting a WD 2go activation code? The help section of the app says to get it from our My Book Live but I don’t see where it offers that option.
A firmware update is happening for the My Book Live that you will need to accept for the wd 2go service. You need to go to your MBL webpage to accept the Firmware. The firmware may take a bit of time to show up as everything was being deployed around the same time but the apps showed up faster.
