WD PASSPOST freezing when attached to WDTV LIVE

My wd passport is freezing after about 15-20minutes of playing off my WDTV LIVE.

I have no idea why this is happening and it is extremely frustrating as i need to restart the wdtv live by unplugging its power.

any help!?

Try using a software to test the drive

you can also use another USB cable
