Hi All
I had the above mentioned drive for a while, recently it decided to give up. All I get is the disk spin sound then goes quait. The drive is not recognised in the device manager, but it does appear in the safely remove external drive.
I tried all the advices from google search nothing worked. At the end I opened the drive to see if there is any thing obvious. Now I know for sure the drive is dead.
I am planning to buy an identical drive and change the disk. Can someone please advice me on what to look for and what needs to be done in order to recover the dats.
Any help will be appreciated.
