Hi for the past few hours I have been trying to figure out why my Passport WDBBEP0010BBK-01 KEEPS TELLING ME MY TOTAL gb are 31.9 total and 31.9 free space, I have formatted in NFTS and restored defaults and yet it still gives me 31.9 of free space, is this unit now junk

What does the partition manager / disk manager of your OS say?
I am sorry but what is that disk manager of my operating system, how do I find that out.

Ok I am looking at MY Passport allocation size and it says primary partition 31 Gb and 891 GB unallocated so how do I cange that so I have all 1 Gb of storage.

Delete the 31 Gb partition.
Create a new partition using all available space.
Reformat that new partition.
