Hi all. I have an old western digital Net Center external NAS device that hasn’t been used for a long time and it still works. I am trying to locate some old photos. I have connected it via an ethernet cable to my laptop but I don’t see the drive. Does anyone know what is the easiest way to access photos off of the device? Must it be connected to a router? Do I require software to be installed to access it? Sorry for the dumb questions.
