Dear Members,

Is there anyone know about WD Mypassport  password protection is running on Hardware  or Software base?

If running on hardware, do it running on 128-AES or 256-AES? Any link that can i refer to calify my query?

password protection is part of the driver, PCB (or the bringe board on myBooks) of the drive does actual on-the-fly encryption and it is
