Hello! Will the WD MyPassport 1TB External Hard Drive USB 3.0 work with a USB 1.0 or 1.1 port? Thanks!
I doubt it since it is not listed in the specs only USB 2 and 3 are listed. Even if it did work it would be extremely slow.

Thanks! I do have a USB 2.0 port on my PC, just wondering if it will still work with USB 1.0. 
I know on older PC’s the USB 1 ports are frequently on the fromt and USB 2 are on the back. My sister needed to use her old Windows 98 laptop for something the other day and found out that Flash drives won’t work on it.

That’s exactly what I have, 2 USB ports in front and 4 USB 2.0 ports on the back, it’s just that I find it easier if I can just connect it in front.
