WD MyCloud - Won't uninstall but also won't run

I’m experiencing problems with the above around my wireless network. I deceided to download and install the latest desktop version of WD My Cloud (2GO). The application will not run nor will it uninstall. On the uninstall it’s looking for a temp file C:\Users\David\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX0\Installers\ its alternative was to locate the WD MyCloud (x86).msi file. Unfortunately for one reason or another I have neither. If I rerun the installation nothing changes. What’s also interesting is is that if I run the installed program as installed it rejectes it as it’s looking for the latest vesion of Adobe Air. 

 I have looked for the .msi file without sucess. 

On my laptop I cannot see any shared files but on all my mobile devises I can

I’m not entirely sure what’s going on!

Do you have UAC disabled? To enable/disabled you would need an admin account. Go to control panel -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control settings. Try setting it to default and then try running the install/uninstall?
