I am looking for some help here and I have to admit that I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to IT, so I would appreciate a simple explanation if there is one.
I am running Catalina 10.15.3 on my MacBook Pro and use my 2TB Mycloud NAS over WiFi. I have a Sky Hub 2019 1/Gbps router and have a 70 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up speed package from my ISP.
Whenever I upload something to my NAS drive it takes on average I would say 1 hour to upload 1GB of data. Is this normal? To me this feels like it’s taking forever and I would expect the transfer speeds to be much quicker.
Is there an easy way to speed this up other than using a wired connection from my Mac to the NAS drive?
