Wd MyCloud Home - Very Slow file transfer
Hi, i have 3tb mycloud home.
i have high-end pc, 1gigabit modem and router.
Connection:
Modem->Router> wd disk, computer etc.
All port gigabit. All cable cat6 max. 2meters.
When i transfer small or big file all time same speed. 17.5megabayt/s why? What is the solution?
İf i test Wifi Ac and oneplus7t Pro (wifi speed 866mbps) 35/60megabay/s this little bit good.
But cable very slow. 200GB file minimum 7 hour!
if i knew this speed I wouldn’t give money.
1gigabit = ±100mb/s?

i have tp-link vr600. i use this modem but slowly file transfer.
i bought keenetic ultra only router.
i set tplink vr 600 dhcp disable.
All device connect to keenetic router.
One day work. 110mb/s but next day dosent work.
i worked for two weeks and gave up.
i dont know why?
It’s really too bad western digital does not care to correct the systemic slow transfer speeds of their devices. They throw the issue back on the customer. They have your money, they really don’t care.
