Hello, I have a device - WD MyCloud EX4, but with it the problem. The device does not see hard disks. When connecting the discs, the text “Drive failed in bay 1,2” is displayed and the device is not available. I’m trying to go through the browser to the web address - it’s not going to go down the welcome window. In other forums, suggested that you can try to manually update the firmware on the chip through the UART interface. But the problem is that nowhere can I find a datasheet for this device. Or can someone tell me where exactly on the board to connect UART?

WD does not provide support on updating the firmware directly from the chip. If you are unable to access the dashboard, then you should try contacting WD support.

I contacted the WD support team, I created three appeals, on which no one answered. And they just closed it without telling me anything.
P.S. I connected to WD EX4 in the center of UART, apparently, the trouble is in the controller SATA or connectors. Photo
