WD MyCloud and USB Drives

I have all of my media on an external USB Drive. When I connect it to the MyCloud device I can see the drive and all of the files in File explorer. It even shows up as a share in the dashboard but none of the media is visible on any of my DNLA devices. They all say the folder is empty. How do I make the media available for viewing on the other devices?

Is the media on the external USB hard drive in a Twonky compatible format? See the My Cloud User Manual (http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/?id=439&type=25) for more information on the compatible formats supported by the Twonky DLNA media server.

Is Media Serving enabled on the external USB drive Share? See the My Cloud Dashboard > Shares. Also see the My Cloud User Manual for more information about connecting a USB hard drive to the My Cloud.

See the following thread for more information on using the Twonky DLNA media server embedded within the My Cloud.
