I am having problems accessing this drive via my Mac. My Sonos system appears to find it fine (it has some music stored on it).
At first I couldn’t get my Mac to recognise / find the drive at all but have managed to rectify this by swapping the cables that go into the router around (not sure why this has worked but it has).
Now the setup software finds it, but when I select the drive and goes through the set up I get this message:
“Something wrong with the volume’s CNID DB, using temporary CNID DB instead.Check server messages for details. Switching to read-only mode.”
I can’t log into the web dashboard - when I type the ISP in I just get a white screen.
I have just started trying to set the whole thing up again after we got the new Mac - I have a vague recollection that it used to work ok until a software update was installed (this was ages ago now).
What can I do to fix it?? It is so annoying that a software update I was told to install appears to have wrecked the whole thing
