WD MyBook Studio II as a disk enclosure for a single drive

Hi,

If I set the MyBook Studio II to RAID1 and take both disks out, can I use the MyBook as an enclosure for one disk drive at a time?  I want to copy some 2TB drives, but I only have one external drive dock.  I’d like to use the MyBook as my second “drive dock”.

Will this cause any problems?

You can try, however I don’t believe is possible to use the external enclosure as the second dock.
