WD mybook for mac showing space but not copying

Wonder if anyone can help? My 2 Tb mybook shows 850 G free space but when I try to do a 130 Gb backup it won’t complete and says there is not enough space. I’ve tried using 2 different backup programs (WD smartware and crashplan) and the same thing happens.

I’m at a loss of what to do!

Any help appreciated

What OS are you using? Have you scanned the drive for errors?

OSX lion, the disk is mac os extended journaled

Scanned multiple times with disk utility, no problems found…
