WD MyBook fail on OSX Mavericks but ok on Windows 7

Hey people,

My WD My Book external hard drive, formatted as ExFAT, is no longer showing up as a drive in OSX Maverick. It was working last night and for the last few weeks, but not this morning. Not even Disk Utility or Disk Warrior can see it.

However, when I plug it in (via USB) to my Windows 7 computer, the drive shows up and is accessible. The data is still present.

I never installed WD drivers, just using the USB connection.

Anyone else? Thanks for any ideas.

Hi dustin007 have you tried connecting the My Book to another USB port on your Mac, or to another Mac? As a troubleshooting step, avoid using any USB extension cables or USB hubs.
