The problem is the drive stills works but the drive isn’t reading all the files on drive that have not been deleted.
The drive still reports the correct amount space available and it passes the SMART test apart from the current pending sector count which is 192 current and worst with a threshold of 0.
Is it caused by bad sectors and if is can the files be recovered without lost data. There is plenty of free space
Can the drive be fixed with the right software?
