WD MyBook Essential 3.0 2TB error

#1

Hi there, I have a serious problem here…

I have MyBook Essential 3.0 TB since february and I’m really enjoy this thing…

But yesterday  when my friend borrow it, he accidentally kick my external…After the kick it’s okay, I stil can access my data…But, when he eject the drive and go home, I try to use my external but something bad happened…

The computer recognized the drive, but it shows as “Local Disk” not “BeaTzHQ” (BeaTzHQ is the name of the drive I give)…And when I open the drive, nothing’s there…:frowning:

I open the properties of the drive and I found all 0…(space used 0, free space 0, total size 0)…

I really despair, because all my important data is there…

Can anyone help me with this case ??

Regard,

BeaTz

If it shows up in disk management then maybe TestDisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk will fix partition structure.

But it does show on my computer…

I try to access it from cmd, but I can’t access it too.The cmd give me message “The system cannot find the file specified”…

Normally, if there are no drive it will give message “The system cannot find the drive specified”…
