So I’ve got my external hard drive plugged into the USB 3.0 slot, and it randomly disconnects itself and reconnects itself almost instantaniously. I disconnected it out of the 3.0 slot and put it into a 2.0 slot, and now I have no issues. Anyone have a clue as to why that is? It’s a brand new external drive.
Check if you have any USB 3.0 driver update available for your motherboard.

I did this earlier, and it still did the same thing. However, I deleted and redownloaded the 3.0 drivers, rebooted and it seems to be working. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
