Problem to recognize my WD My Passport after connecting with my computer (Windows XP). After a while it wil apear as station E and not My Passport. If I open the E station it takes a few minutes and shows a problem. It says “I/O problem can’t open it”. Can anyone help me out?
Hi wimpoelstra, welcome to the WD Community. Be sure to connect the Passport directly to the PC using longer USB cables or USB hubs can cause problems. Try running a DLG test, check the link below for more information.
