WD My Passport Ultra files not showing up on the drive

when I connect the drive to my mac it takes some time until the icon shows up on my desktop. then after a few minutes the drive appears with my folders in it although when I click on the folders they appear empty, like all of the files are gone from them. all of my data is stored in the drive, my studies, photos, everything. please help needed!!!

Hello,

According to the picture, you have selected the option that shows the name of the unit. Can you please try selecting the partition that shows the capacity to run the repair.

Please let me know if you are able to do that.
