I have a Dell Studio laptop running Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit. When I try to connect the external drive it doesn’t connect and the light on the external drive is blinking all the time. When I ran my weekly backup on December 26th, everything was OK. Any ideas why I can’t connect anymore.

Have you tried different computer? Have you tried different USB cable and USB port? Does the drive comes up at the device manager screen?
