Hoping I can get some help… I have had my external hard drive for a few years… never been dropped or damaged. I went to transfer a file to it but an error message occurred (unfortunaly I don’t know what it said) after ejecting the hard driver and plugging it into a new computer, the computer did not read it (this computer had read this hard drive in the past) after this didn’t work, I plugged the hard drive back into my lap top that it always is connected to and suddenly the computer is saying it wont read the hard drive and that it malfunctioned…Did I lose everything or can I recover the hard drive… HELLLLLP!!!
