WD My Passport - incomplete features for MAC

During install process my WD Drive Manager kicks off the WD Services but it does only list

  • WD Backup Drive Helper
  • WD Drive Manager

It is not possible to automatic as well as manual mode to get to the features:

  • WD Backup
  • WD Backup Snapshot

After a fail install I re-installed on my first MacBook Pro.
After that didn’t word I installed it on a second MacBookPro.
Same result.

Both using compatible OS versions according the WD specs.

So any thoughts?

That’s because WD Backup is only Windows compatible.

MAC users generally use Time Machine instead.
