I’ve had my WD My Passport external hard drive for about a year or so now, ever time I plugged it in to download my videos and pictures, My passport K drive will show and I’ll do back up on that drive. I took my PC in to Best But to do some needed work, they had to reinstall windows vista, I pick my pc up and plug in my passport to load all my stuff back on my pc and now “I” drive shows and I do not see everything I’ve downloaded, i had to take my pc in for more work, picked it up, and now I see My passport K drive when I plug it in. I’ve had to take my pc in for the third time for problrms, after I picked it back up, I plugged in the external hard drive, IT NOW said “I” drive again and shows no videos!! I should have downloaded everything back on my pc when I had the chance to. Can anyone tell my how do I get it to show My passport “K” drive where everything is?
Change the folder settings to show hidden files. How did you backup manually or with software?
