Hi,

I was working  on my PC was accessing some files from HDD .All of sudden it stuck I was unable to open files quickly from portable drive.

so I remove it and… Reconnected it but now its not showing . Just getting connected sound nothing else…

What could be the issue…???

do you see the drive in disk management?

I am having the same issue.  It makes the sound that it is connected, runs like it is working and the light on it is on.  Please let me know if you find an answer.

If your drive can not be seen in disk management, then problem is beyond regular DIY recovery. I would suggest to look for data recovery firm to handle it. Could be physical issue or firmware related issue.
