WD My Passport Ess.1TB SE doesn't support Windows 7?

I’m posting this because I am having a very hard time believing that the WD My Passport Essential SE 1 TB doesn’t work on Windows 7 operating systems.

Looking for another backup HDD, but don’t want to deal with returns.

I use mine without any problem.

Have you tried to download the SES driver ?

Have you tried the drive or are you just looking? Personally I would avoid USB powered drives if possible. A lot of computers have barely adequate power supplies which can cause problems from not working at all to corruption if voltage drops.
