WD My passport 4TB external HDD Fatal Hardware Error

My external HDD has encountered the fatal hardware error and I’ve tried everything to fix it but to no avail. It’s still under warranty so I’m gonna get it replaced.

Now I’ve contacted the appropriate data recovery partner(OnTrack for my region) and I just want to know, will it be possible to recover the data onto the replacement HDD which is to be issued and then send the HDD with the data back? Does WD have any idea of the process involved? Some insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
