I have a problem, I use WD on MAC, read the disk, but I can not copy or do anything.
When WD reads, a noise is heard.
Can somebody help me? I’m in Argentina, Buenos Aires.
You need to download WD Drive Utilities for Mac. Run all the diagnostics tests. If you still have problems then erase the drive but you will lose all the data doing that! Also try a different USB cable and reboot the computer. Try again. If you hear strange noises from the drive then its most probably got damaged and the only solution is to to create an RMA and return it to WD for replacement (if its still under warranty and you will lose all the data on the damaged drive). Some shops will replace it for you directly if you recently purchased it otherwise you need to return it to WD agent in your country by creating an RMA.
