WD My passport 2 TB can't be recognised by DVD player

I have a sony DVD Blu Ray player and I presently have a Seagate Free agent Go Flex that I use with the Blu Ray player for some movies and videos and works great.

WD My passport always shows it can not be recognized by the Blu Ray player. I want to keep the security active is possible but would like to be able to read it on or with the Blu Ray player…

Any suggestions?

You can’t do both. The Blu Ray player will not see the drive if it is password protected. The Blu Ray player has no way to unlock the drive.
