Wd my passport 1t portable drive not recognizing files

all i can get to display is the directory. but no video will play at all! and also no audio.

all that displays is theat circle just going round and round!

It’s probably not the DRIVE that’s the problem.

It’s more likely you’ve tried to play a trashed MKV file.  See FAQ section 4H and 4I.
