Wd my cloud "no internet access"

when accessing the my cloud dashboard under the settings tab, then selecting network. It says there is no internet access… Ive checked and I cannot access the drive outside of my home network, it also cant check for updates to the firmware.

Things ive tried:

I have reset my home router from scratch, still nothing.

Also I have rebooted my wd my cloud many times.

any suggestions???

Hello josh3684, try setting a static IP for the My Cloud, if that doesn’t work do a factory restore. Check page 78 and 82 of the manual for the steps.

It has a static ip… Honestly I’ll just tough it out before I do a factory restore… It took forever to transfer my files from my “my book live” to the “wd my cloud”…
