WD My Cloud disconnects from network

A short while after transferring large amounts of data to my network-attached WD My Cloud, the device stops responding to network connections, and I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

This patterns repeats - It will work for weeks at low traffic volumes without any issue, but then transferring large amounts of data to it just kills it and it requires a power cycle, even if I just did power cycled it earlier in that same day.

I am running the latest firmware version - 3.04.01-230.


Have you tried setting a static IP?
