WD My Cloud Dashboard


I have a WD My Cloud, I recently changed my ISP and now have cable internet. The problem is that the WD Dashboard was home networked to my old ISP and network. Now I can access the dashboard.

Any tips?

I don’t know what went wrong with my previous post but here it is again.

Try a 40 second reset:

Resetting with Power Off
At the same time as you plug power into the WD My Cloud device, press the Reset button
and hold for about 40 seconds. The device undergoes a system restore and powers on.
System Only: Changes all settings back to the factory default values, makes private shares
public, and returns the administrator password to none. Your content remains untouched
and intact.

This should reset the My Cloud IP back to DHCP and then you can login
to the dashboard. Check your routers IP table to see what IP is assigned
to your My Cloud. From there you will have to reset all folders and
user permissions.
