Hi 

Anyone know how to backup , only selected folder in the safepoints?

i dont want to back all , only Doc’s and picture folders

please help

You need to see the User Manual, Managing Safepoints.

To backup an individual folder why don’t you just drag and drop it to the share you want it in. You can also use SmartWare.

Unfortunately, there is no way to select a subset of shares or folders within shares to be backedup with Safepoint from the NAS UI.

Linux users will be comfortable using rsync through SSH to do this…

I ended up using PC sync software (I use SyncBack SE) to do this. Even round tripping between 2 NAS, I get about 12MB/s which is faster than the USB at the back of the NAS.
