WD My Cloud and latest java

***UPDATE****Fix no longer working??? This is driving me crazy

UPDATE:****************FOUND FIX THAT WORKS THANKS TO KeesN post at : link below*********************

http://community.wd.com/t5/WD-My-Cloud/Latest-Java-7-update-51-kills-remote-acces/td-p/660681/page/3

in Summary: if you have updated java that is fine (at least on Win 7 in my experience)

Leave Java security on High, that is fine and good.

add 2 sites to exception site list in java control panel in these forms (different for each mycloud device and is what you see after you login but they look like this:

https://xxxxxxx-device123456.wd2go.com/

http://xxxxxxx-device123456.wd2go.com/

Works for IE 11 and Chrome!!!

In general: don’t lower the security level; leave it on High.

Add TWO exceptions by clicking on Edit Site list. The name can be found on the address bar.

Add 1 https://… the secure connection with the link to your WD drive;

Add 2 http://… not secure connection, and the same address.

The name will be in the form  https://xxxxxxx-device123456.wd2go.com/

After doing that the connection is restored.

ORIGINAL POST:

Same thing here! It is the same in IE 11 and in Chrome. Don’t know what to do, cant access wd2go any longer. Not acceptable! Happened after finally updating java instead of just clicking run this time every time.

get error that when clicked on says

Application Error

SecurityException

Tried adding exceptions sites in java control panel and also lowering security to medium but it still does the same thing…
