Hi everybody,
I have 2 WD My Books (2x8TB) attached to my HP Prodesk 440, running Windows 10, USB3.0.
Both of the hard drives keeps disappearing after a random amount of time if they are not used, they does not appear in the disk management (so not only in the explorer not)
-The hard drives are still running, I can hear them spinning
-Already tried to change the cables, problem still exists
-Already disabled the USB selective suspend setting in the power options, problem still exists
-Already disabled the hard drive turn off (set to never), problem still exists
-Already used different USB ports, even USB 2.0 ports, problem still exists
-Already installed all the windows, software, firmware and bios updates, problem still exists
-Both HDD-s have 100% Health in HDSentinel and no issues
After a restart sometimes they are recognized again without problem, sometimes I have to disconnet them first from the USB, but after that they are recognized again.
Hope you can help me find a solution.
