I plugged in my My Book, did all the test. And then cleared the drive. All my previous drives I have always reformatted them first before using. As most recommend.

Now I cannot even see the drive icon when I plug it in.

I have re installed the utility and turbo installers.

How do I fix my mistake and get this thing working?

Actually you have followed the correct initialization procedure, so if the drive is not recognized there is something else going on. Have you tried changing the wall outlet after a cold boot? What if you change the USB cable? is the hard drive displayed on Disk Utility for First Aid?
