How can i access again to My Book Live, everything is connected and nothing appears in my PC with windows 10.

I have the same question. I have had my WD My BOOK connected to my home network. However I would like to connect it directly to my PC instead and continue to use it as a “backup” drive. But regular ethernet cable connection does not seem to do it. I read on some forums that one needs a Crossover Ethernet cable to do that. Did you ever get a response to your query?
