I got a problem, that my WD My Book Essentials (WDBAAF0010HBK-01) microUSB port fell off.
Tried to glue it, but it didn’t work, so I decided to get data as from simple sata drive.
Windows 7 didn’t recognized it and proposed to add MBR record and I agreed, but drive was still unseen.
After that tried to get data, holding microUSB port by hand, but got only SmartWare part. Nothing else.
Need to get data from this disk, but don’t even know what partition there was.
Can I get data from it as usual Sata drive, cause disk was unprotected?
Or can I somehow try it via microUSB?
Please, need help a lot.
