I am not able to access my My Book 1110…1TB box. I changed many USB cables, ports, PCs/ Laptops, but the problem remains. It is just not scanning and repairing. I tried WD Drive Utilities and the Data Lifeguard, but still could not get it to respond, in the way, it used too… I can see the Drive letter… but the system is not reading the data. Last night, it passed the WD Drive Utilities Quick Test …after a long time but failed the Complete Test.
Data Life Guard is also identifying the drive, but the tests are failing. I can share the screen shot of the alert message and the Test result( plz see attachment)
