WD my book essential 3.0 not seen through router

I have a new 1.5 tb WD my book essential, I had the 1tb one prior, and it was seen through the router. Why is this one not? The light blinks while plugged into the router, but is no where to be found on my pc. It is a netgear router WNDR4500.

Any help would be great, it used to be called “readyshare” on the other WD my book 1tb.

Also, when I go to routerlogin, it see’s it under “Readyshare” but it doesn’t show up in my network, or anywhere else on my Computer. (Windows 8 pro)

The model # is WDBACW0015HBK-NESN.

Like I said, when I go to routerlogin, I see the readyshare drive, and was actually able to add it to the cloud, but it is not showing up in my computer, or network.
