WD My Book Essential 2TB died

I have bought WD My Book Essential 2TB in january 2012, about week ago it hang out and after that didn’t work at all. I’ve checked adapter, data cable, changed PC, etc. HDD’s drive is working (according to vibrations), but this vibrations have some cycles with little clicking at the end of each cycle. 

BIOS can see it, but OS - not. 

I’ve created 2 RMA cases, but none of them were answered (last I’ve created just now). 

What should I do?

Does it show up in the Device Manager or Disk Management?


Join the club.  I think we should start  a cemetery for this piece of garbage.  Am still trying to find a way  to recover the over a TB of data I had on my drive.  Customer service here is beyond awful.  It’s non-existent!
