I just purchased a WD my Book Duo 16TB, checking on many of the information posted, the usual 8TB drives is a white back labeled with the red WD sticker and all information with 128GB cache.
I have a 8TB drives with two metal frame top and bottom, no white label, but silver, seem also a helium filled drive, and looks more like a 10TB drives shown on youtube and other sites, and it’s states 256 cache.
Has WD made a mistake or is it a mixed situation depending on the batch or countries sold, mine is made in Thailand, just wondering will mine also come with 7200 rpm instead of the stated 5400rpm.
Thanks.
