I moved from Australia (240V & 50HZ) to Panama (110V & 60HZ) and when I plugged in the My Book, the light came on the unit but about 2 minutes later turned off. The switching adapter shows the AC Input is 100-240V & 50/60HZ. When I plug the adapter into power without the My Book, it displays a constant green light but when I connect that to the My Book, there is just a faint light that flashes about twice per second without any indication of power on the My Book. Is the problem likely to be the switching adapter or the My Book power supply?
It seems that My Book is not getting enough power for its proper operation and need specified power input for its operation. This issue might be due to the power supply provided to My Book.
