This is a brand new drive. I plugged it into my old xp computer to save some files. It was recognized and installed. It shows up in device manager, but not in disk management or my computer. Any ideas?
Try it in Windows 7 or 8 or 10 and see if it works.
Windows 10 recognizes the My Book just fine on new computer. Now the question is how do I get files from my XP computer, mostly music files, to the My Book.
