WD media player stalls on loading

I have it hooked to a WD hard drive . I can scroll through and see all the files , but when I go to play it starts the normal loading circle. It never gets passed that it will be on the loading screen for quite awhile. When they used to load instantly.

What can be done to fix this?

Solved power cycled both hdd and WD live and it worked
