Just purchased thr WD Live TV Plus. Everything so far works fine. One issue I am having. When playing videos, MKV, MP4 etc the picture seems much darker than usual. I have the settings on the WD at 1080p 60 hz. (i would have though 120 hz was supported)
What might I be able to do to correct this problem?

1- Darker than what? What are you comparing it to?
2- 120p? Why? Nothing is produced in 120p.
im playing all of my mkv files/movies… everything seems darker. i am comparing it to the blu-ray discs i ripped from.
Maybe you calibrated your TV differently on those two HDMI ports…
My TV has different calibrations per input.
Try plugging your HDMI cable that is normally in your BD Player into the WD and see if it’s the same.
If the picture then looks “Normal,” then that’s what the issue is.
Yes, they may look different from original source.
You may compensate this by adjusting your black level push or trying a different resolution for your rips…
